Davao del Norte : Carmen

The municipality of Carmen was once a battlefield. The town's capital was the center of the Battle of Ising in 1945 during the World War II where the Filipino soldiers fought and drove away the Japanese army.

The town has a huge production of fresh bananas and pomelos. 

How to go to Carmen?
From Davao City, take a bus or van going to Tagum City. Travel time is a little over an hour by bus and fare is around P60 for non air-conditioned buses. Alight at Carmen Bus Terminal. The mode of transportation within town are padyak and motorcycles (habal-habal).
