Tang Sweet Orange at Treevolution : Greening MindaNOW

More than just beating a world record, the TreeVolution : Greening MindaNOW project was also about spreading the advocacy on environmental protection. Mindanao Development Authority (MinDA) Chairperson Lualhati Antonio, organizer of the event, said, "This movement is a call to action for all Filipinos, not only Mindanaoans, to conserve and protect nature with the impending threat of climate change."

Treevolution was participated by over 200,000 volunteers from all over Mindanao. A total of 4.6 million seedlings were planted across regions 9, 10, 11, 12, Caraga and ARMM. According to unofficial results, it actually succeeded in breaking the world record.

In Davao City, Tang Sweet Orange was able to provide refreshing drinks to over 7,000 volunteers. Tang Sweet Orange is one of the companies which actively supports the greening project. The trees planted will help sustain our environment for generations to come.
