Bistro Rosario, one of Davao's homegrown restaurants has recently launched a new line of pastries that will surely capture Davaoeno's palate. Seven new mouthwatering pastries were added to its menu and is collectively called as the "Worx of Aarts". Together with Chef Jan Willem Jansen from the Netherlands, Chef Amylou Aarts and her team have came up with new offering which proudly uses local ingredients like mango and banana to bring it more closer to the Davaoenos taste.
I was lucky enough to be one of the people who were invited for a taste test. I did not grow up in Davao City so I am not quite familiar with Bistro Rosario. But, when I first tasted their cake during one of my friends birthday party, it definitely caught my attention. The rainbow cake was such a delight. So, when I learned about the launching of the new pastries, I did not have to think twice. I know that I will surely love their new pastries as much as I love their rainbow cake. I wasn't disappointed because it actually exceeded my expectations. The new line of pastries were really good!
Here's Bistro Rosario's new offerings. These are just sampler / bite sizes so the actual serving is bigger.
