A Taste of Hong Kong with Chef Sunny Cheng at Marco Polo Davao


Last month, Marco Polo Davao has brought a taste of Xiamen in Davao City. This month, the hotel is on its second wave of the Chinese Chef series with Chef Yeung Kwan Cheng who unveiled some of the finest Cantonese dishes at the Lotus Court Restaurant. He will be showcasing his creation from April 16 to April 21, 2015.

Also known as Sunny Cheng, Chef Yeung Kwan Cheng of Marco Polo Ortigas has served us some of his signature Cantonese dishes like Jelly Fish with Chopped Spring Onion and Sesame Oil, Baked Tiger Prawns Szechuan Style, Sweet and Sour Pork with Blueberries and more.

From the wide array of Cantonese cuisines that were served, I personally like the Deep-fried Squid with Mashed Salted Eggs and Seasonings, the salted egg complements well to the fresh squid. The Sweet and Sour Pork with Blueberries also left a mark to my palate. The addition of fresh blueberries make it more delectable.
