It's Kadayawan month once again and Seda Abreeza brings you the best of Davao as they partner with the Philippine Eagle Foundation, Malagos Farmhouse, and Malagos Chocolates to come up with an interesting array of offerings. Dubbed as "Discover the Best of Davao", Seda's Kadayawan highlight includes Best Stays, Best Dining Experience, and Best Concoctions.
Best Stays
This year, Philippine Eagle Foundation is now doing the Kadayawan tie-up with the entire Seda Hotel chain. Guests who will avail the Best Available Rates from July to September 2016 will get the chance to help in the conservation mission, whichever Seda Hotel they are checking in. This initiative is for the benefit of the Bird Ambassadors in the Philippine Eagle Center, which are often presented in the organization’s Keeper Talks – part of the center’s information and education drives. As a chain, Seda sees the importance of this conservation mission campaign and is one in making this partnership happen once more.
Best Dining Experience
Seda Abreeza’s all-day dining restaurant, Misto, has its menu
loaded with Kadayawan feast favorites for the entire season. Set meals are
offered from August to September at Php 780 nett, which features dishes that
will surely speak Davao from soup to dessert. A dinner buffet is a must during
Kadayawan, of course. Misto continues its Friday indulgence with more of local
grilled classics, seafood cravings, and seasonal fruits in the spread. This is
available from 6PM to 9PM at Php
980 nett for adults, Php 580 nett for kids aged 7-12, and free for kids aged 6
and below.
The Kadayawan Dinner Buffet will also be
graced by live cultural performances by award-winning dance troupe Madayaw
Cultural Ensemble.
Best Concoctions
Four different beverage offerings will
be launched this August, each catering to the various tastes and preferences of
Misto diners. First up is something for the cold weather and is in partnership
with internationally-renowned Malagos Chocolates: the Malagos Hot Choco paired
with a local classic, “suman,” available at Php 238 nett per order.
For those who wish to experience a wine-and-cheese pairing with Davao’s very own Malagos cheeses, Misto offers it daily at Php 1180 nett with a wine buffet for one and a cheese platter good for two.
Meanwhile, for the ones who want to
keep it fruity and healthy, a Kadayawan Fruit Blend is available at Php 280
nett, which includes pomelo, dalandan, and pineapple, with a dash of spinach.
August’s cocktail of the month is also
up and shall be called “Madayaw,” in lieu of the celebratory vibe for
Kadayawan. With variety
of tropical fruits mixed with white rum and Cointreau with a dash of grenadine
in it, guests may enjoy this drink at Php 280 nett.
