Mid-Autumn Festival at Marco Polo Davao


Marco Polo Davao celebrated Mid-Autumn festival with sumptuous dinner at Lotus Court last October 3, 2017.


Upon arrival, guests were offered Jasmine soothing iced tea as welcome drinks. Lotus Court’s favorite dishes such as Peking Duck, Buddha Soup, Crabs with ginger and onion, Steamed Pompano, assorted Dimsum and as well as Red Bean with Egg Yolk and Lotus Seed Paste mooncakes were served in the buffet station. The celebration was entertained by wushu performance by Silver Gray wushu troup.


Celebrated in the middle of the autumn season, the Mid-Autumn Festival is the second grandest festival in China after the Chinese New Year. The day is also known as the Moon Festival, as at that time of the year the moon is at its roundest and brightest.
